First craft market of the year
You know it's going to be a long and tiring day when you're up and out early on a Sunday morning to get to the venue with enough time to set the stall up. Quite a small venue with not an awful lot of room to off load the vehicles so there was a lot of patient queueing on arrival. We somehow managed to find the only pitch that was in shade for the day but it was at least almost level!!
Trade was quite slow to start with but it soon started getting busier towards lunchtime, by which time we both had totally numb feet from the boggy grass - lesson learned, take some form of flooring in future.
It was good chatting to the other stall-holders, discussing the merits of certain markets as well as where to find a lot of these markets.
